JAC Products Names New Vice President of North American Operations

PONTIAC, MI - JAC Products, a leading designer and manufacturer of original-equipment roof racks for vehicles worldwide, has named Paul Parent Vice President Operations-North America. He was previously president of JAC Products Europe. In his new role, Parent will oversee all manufacturing operations, including logistics and purchasing.

Prior to joining JAC Products, Parent was president of Vibracoustic North America, a Plymouth Michigan-based division of Freudenberg-NOK. Previously, he served as president of NAFTA Suspension Activities, Sachs Automotive of America, preceded by a 19-year career at Robert Bosch Corporation where he held various management positions.

George Hofman, JAC Products president and CEO said: “Paul’s experience with managing the manufacturing of automotive components for OEM customers is significant. His work with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principals, as well as his ability to capitalize on strategic opportunities, will continue to be an asset to our operations.”

Parent is a graduate of Lawrence Institute of Technology. He resides in Northville, Michigan with his wife and three children.
